My Thoughts on the Attempt's to remove Jeff Frederick's

When I endorsed Mr Frederick's on this Blog, I did so because He laid out a vision and plan that I agreed with, Unfortunately I have not seen the result's that I had expected.

Speaking with Several Different Vendor's has left Me with the impression that bidding for Ads, Mailing's, Etc was never properly opened up.
I find that competition between these vendors delivers a much better product to the Party.

Fundraising has remained stagnant and the RPV has shrunken to a near non-existant force.
There is also the question of certain unexplained or wasteful expenditures.
I believe there should be a hearing where the Chairman can answer these questions and defend Himself.

But the straw that broke this camels back was when Chairman Frederick had the Advance location changed to Williamsburg because The Homestead was too "Country Club"
Isn't paying nearly $1,000 for gold pins for SCC members give more of a Country Club image than having an Advance where Republicans could enjoy a great resort at prices they normally couldn't afford the rest of the year?

I understand that some feel moving it would be more productive for party building because the other Hotels are so boring that all you have to do is go to workshops, But all work and no play drives down attendance, Especially among Small-Business Owners and Professionals that like to Work Hard and Play Hard, These People aren't constantly involved, But they play an important role with their local influence and the checks they write at fundraisers.

And I can't see how I can support a Chairman that is against the establishment or "Elite" , When they are the People that can effect the Top-Down Change than We at the Grassroots could ever dream of.

We must learn to be civil and friendly with ALL Fellow Republicans.
I will only support Jeff if He pledges to move the Advance to it's permanent home at The Homestead starting next year.
For all of You wonks with no interest in being sociable, Go have Your advance in Northern Virginia, Maybe You can invite some Ron Paul supporters.

Jeff was totally open about contracts. All his friends got them. He even took the part that had the percentage of all the money raised on the website and gave the website contract to one of his old business partners on a no bid basis.

But worse is that he told the party he had no confict. His real problem is that no one trusts him now that he has lied so often.

Why don't you want to be civil and friendly to ALL People - not just Republicans - are Republicans Special (you wrote the words). That is why we have so much partisanship these days.

I will only support Jeff if He pledges to move the Advance to it's permanent home at The Homestead starting next year.

WHAT? That is all it takes to get your support? I know you are young, I did not believe you were that Naive.

If the interest of going to the meeting is getting to go the Homestead - then, stay home - we do not need more people there for the resort or the food - we need people who can make a difference. This is your idea of commited people - get a resort. Disappointed in your current view on this.

Sheesh.

Holy cow. You base your support on - not taxes or certain social issues or individual freedom, etc. - but on whether the party's retreat is brought back to a luxury resort or not? And you're on the luxury resort side of the argument, even after the scandals about bailed out companies sending employees on trips to resorts. Are you serious? Talk about a political 'tin ear'. Sir, that's just clueless. If that's how you think, then please stop calling yourself a "conservative"; it only serves to embarrass those of us who actually are.

You should go work for AIG,then you can take the money, relax, get a spa treatment, talk work over a dinner with wine, take a dip in the pool.

The republicans like giving everyone a label, I guess you are a CINO - Conservative in Name Only.
